Finally. I have managed to settle on a redesign (or realignment if you want to go down the Cameron Moll route). Not only did I settle on this new look, I also followed it through to the end. So after almost 3 years of the same uninspiring look, owenmcg.com has a fresh (if not old-fashioned) look.

New beginning

I have finally managed to complete and implement a redesign of my website. I intend to now use this website for posting anything and everything. I have dropped the word ‘Professional’ from the title in hope that it will make me a bit more relaxed about the content I put up.

I’m still not 100% convinced about the homepage and how it displays recent articles. It looks a bit text heavy to me. As always with this site I suppose I’ll have to consider it a work in progress, otherwise it will never see the light of day.

Of course this is not the only new beginning that I am looking at at the moment. Myself and Laura are expecting our first child on the 22nd of December this year. Not long to go now. Undoubtedly our little girl (as far as we know) will have a huge impact on how much time and effort goes into this website, but I am hoping that I will feel inspired to do a bit more. Hopeful I know, but sure why not.

So a couple of new beginnings coincide. Exciting times lie ahead.
