Who would have thought that mouse tracking could be so cool?

IOGraphica

A couple of weeks ago the (ever-so-talented) Nicholas Felton took on Khoi Vinh (who is also rather talented) in this season’s opening Layer Tennis match. It was easily the best Layer Tennis match to date and during volley #7 one element of Nicholas Felton’s design was a mouse-tracking graphic. The piece of software used to create these graphics is IOGraphica, which is free and the results, I have to say, are rather wonderful.

I recorded myself here at work from 14:02 to 17:06 and then mucked around with it a bit, the results of which you can see above. Yes, those are cows. Definitely something I will muck about with a lot more in the future.
