El Toad

Myself and Laura were doing a bit of weeding/digging in the back garden over the weekend when we happened upon this little creature. If I am not mistaken he is a toad and the poor things get a bad rep for being ugly. I think he (she?) is rather charming.
Oddly, there is very little water in or around our garden so I am at a loss as to what the attraction is…
