A potted history of me
Who?
I am Owen McGauley, currently a photo retoucher and archive manager for a number of Ireland's leading weekly newspapers. I am also a keen photographer and you can see some of my photographs on my Flickr! photostream. I have a strong interest in web design and try to keep up to date with the latest goings-on of the internets. Although not the most exciting admission I have found myself becoming more and more passionate about semantic markup. When the project fits I do partake in some freelance web design. Print design is another medium that I like to dabble in now and then and as with my web design interest I have been known to take on print projects that suit myself and my client.
Why?
Why does this site exist? Sometimes I ask myself the same question and usually the answer is 'because I have already paid for the hosting for this year'.

What is this site I hear you ask. It is an online repository for my general musings, observations, occasional photographs and links to articles of interest.

When was I born? In 1980 would you believe?
Where?
I am from the lovely little seaside town of Wicklow. Isn't it pretty!
